On 10 October 2017, Gabriela Heinrich (SOC/DE) was elected General Rapporteur on Combatting Racism and Intolerance by the Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination. As General Rapporteur, Ms. Heinrich is responsible for coordinating all topics surrounding the issues of racism, intolerance and hate speech and for organizing conferences and hearings taking place within the Committee. She will further coordinate the No Hate Parliamentary Alliance.
