DEATH OF ANNA LINDH

"The loss of Anna Lindh is a terrible blow to European politics" said Terry Davis, the Leader of the Socialist Group in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. "It reminds us that politicians are as vulnerable as everyone else in the world today. However our first thoughts are with Anna Lindh's family, especially her children. The death of a mother is always a terrible experience, but it must be even worse for children to lose their mother in such circumstances." Terry Davis has already sent a personal letter to Goran Magnusson, the Leader of the Swedish Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and asked him to convey the condolences of all members of the Socialist Group to Anna Lindh's family.
